Health Ambassadors: Meeting Papers 2017

Ambassadors bring forward the views of marginalised groups, then work with local services to make sure their comments are considered and taken on board by local health and social care service providers.

Health Ambassadors are a team of individual volunteers who represent marginalised and seldom heard groups within Doncaster.

Health Ambassadors can play a key role in helping ensuring health and social care service providers have an inclusive approach to patient and public involvement.

Health Ambassadors can act as a “critical friend” to organisations, sharing views on their organisational activities, associated with the delivery of their strategic plans.
